“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
[Proverbs 17:22]
Let’s not get totally stressed out with the rush and run up to the holidays. At times, I think I am too serious, too Presbyterian. Maybe we need a little good humor – a note of grace.
Can we learn to take ourselves lightly?
Can you smile gently, gracefully into yourself?
“My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.” -Maya Angelou
To worship rightly is to love each other, each smile a hymn, each kindly deed a prayer.
Grace and Peace, Love and Laughter.
